The search application ‘Search Service Application’ on server did not finish loading. View the event logs on the affected server for more information.

    Solution:

Open Powershell with Admin privileges  and run below commands:

    Add-PSSnapin Microsoft.SharePoint.PowerShell

    Psconfig -cmd secureresources

    Sharepoint Search

It could take a little bit of time to run this command, if the command give you an error

The upgrade command is invalid or a failure has been encountered.
The server farm will not work with missing installs. Add “-cmd installcheck -noinstallcheck” to the command-line to ignore this warning.

    then run below:

Then first install the required updates that are mentioned and then proceed to run the command again.

Do not run below command as it could lead your farm in inconsistent state.

    Psconfig -cmd installcheck -noinstallcheck

and If you run this command by mistake, and you farm is down, just run the PSconfig this will give you list of updates to install on server, and don’t worry if some updates are installed already on given server just double check and install all updates and then run PSconfig your farm will be up after that. Good Luck!

This command will take around 1h+ s to run, so please wait for it to complete.
